Pyramids and Parabolas

Across four chapters, Pyramids and Parabolas moves from geometry and the sensing body to otherworldly landscapes and the unconscious, bringing radically different scales of space, time, and experience into proximity to approach what lies beyond ordinary human perception.

Pyramids and Parabolas (2019 - present) is an ongoing film series exploring how we orient ourselves toward realities beyond ordinary human experience. Moving through geometry, body, landscape, and consciousness, each of the four completed chapters to date proposes a different perceptual framework through which the unknown may be encountered, shifting across radically different scales of space, time, and experience.Combining first-person cinematography, found footage, science fiction, scientific research, autobiography, and duration, the series approaches cinema as a medium for constructing embodied encounters with worlds that exceed the limits of direct perception.
