Pyramids and Parabolas
Pyramids and Parabolas (2019 - present) is an ongoing film series exploring how we orient ourselves toward realities beyond ordinary human experience. Moving through geometry, body, landscape, and consciousness, each of the four completed chapters to date proposes a different perceptual framework through which the unknown may be encountered. Combining first-person cinematography, found footage, scientific research, and autobiography, the series approaches cinema as a medium that constructs embodied encounters with worlds that exceed the limits of direct perception.
PP I (2019, 7 mins) — Geometry (architectures of orientation)
PP II: Touching the Cosmos (2021, 18 mins) — Body (embodied orientation)
PP III: Space Analogs (2024, 16 mins) — Landscape (planetary orientation)
PP IV: The Sky Is Not Real (2026, 24 mins) — Consciousness (psychic orientation)
Each film identifies a different medium through which we orient ourselves toward realities beyond ordinary human experience.
